A gift from the Easter Bunny that lasts longer than chocolate



“Who are you?” asked the child, eyes as big as saucers.

The Easter Bunny stood there, before him, dressed in a little suit and carrying a wicker basket laden with chocolates. 

He plucked a little mug with a picture of himself branded on it. It contained colourful foil wrapped eggs and was wrapped in cellophane tied with a beautiful ribbon. 

“I am The Easter Bunny” he said softly. 

Then like a fine mist, on a March morning, he disappeared.

Do you remember the anticipation of what lay in store the night before The Easter Bunny hunt?? The fear of finding a giant White Bunny wearing a Beatrix Potter Victorian Style suit?? Surely it couldn't be true??? But who planted all those eggs all around the garden?? 

The excitement would build as you were handed a little decorated basket and set free along with cousins, brothers and sisters… What a racket!! Great fun though! But where did The Easter Bunny originate from?? 

According to some sources, the Easter bunny first arrived in America in the 1700s with German immigrants who settled in Pennsylvania and transported their tradition of an egg-laying hare called “Osterhase” or “Oschter Haws.” Their children made nests in which this creature could lay its colored eggs.

Now, where am I going with all of this?

That little child will have munched all of the eggs contained in the little mug but would always be left with the little branded mug to remind him of that magical memory! 

Why don’t you bring back all of those childhood Easter Egg hunts for your clients this Easter by producing a branded promotional mug filled with little colourful foil eggs and wrapped in cellophane all tied up with a lovely ribbon…?  The joy of chocolate and the memory of childhood Easter Bunny Hunts but then left with a lovely branded mug to remind you of that lovely treat you were given?

Bespoke gifts, handmade with love

When I’m not looking for exciting promotional gifts to brand for my clients, I adore getting all creative. And with Valentine’s Day almost upon us, that creativity is currently being channelled into my Heart Chunks. These are a little gift idea that I developed a few years ago, when I took a sabbatical to work with an up-cycling business and kickstart my artistic interests again. I start by finding an appropriate piece of wood – it can be any size or type – which I then lovingly sand down. Next I paint a heart or two directly on the wood, before applying wax as a protective layer.
